These clients have considerable experience with the requirements and constraints of renovating in an historic district, having not only renovated their home 25 years prior, but also leading the effort to designate their neighborhood as a local and national historic district.
However, when it came time to build a garage and accessory apartment from the ground-up behind their home, they sought our expertise to design and construct the structure, as well as our help navigating the extensive permitting and variance processes that came with building in an historic district.
We are working with P&K Engineering to complete this project.
